MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State Cardinals are the 2026 MIVA Tournament champions.

The No. 1 seed Cardinals bested No. 2 seed Loyola Chicago 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-20) on Saturday night (April 25).

MIVA Player of the Year and Tournament MVP Patrick Rogers had 16 kills on a .481 hitting percentage with six aces, four digs and three blocks. All-Tournament selection Lucas Machado dished out 31 assists while leading the Cardinals to a red-hot .477 hitting clip. Fellow All-Tournament honoree Wil Basilio notched eight kills on a .636 clip with four blocks.

Loyola Chicago hit .270 for the match and was led by Josh Schellinger's nine kills. All-Tournament picks Daniel Fabikovic and Aidan Klein had seven and six kills, respectively.

This is Ball State's 16th tournament title and first since 2022.
