CHICAGO - Loyola Chicago (25-3) took the fourth seed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament and will take on No. 5 Pepperdine (20-9) in the quarterfinals on Thursday, May 8 at Ohio State. First serve is set for 6:30 p.m. CT/7:30 p.m. ET and the match will be streamed on ESPN+.
Earlier this spring, Loyola defeated Pepperdine in a five-set thriller on the road, and the Ramblers hold a 3-1 advantage in the all-time series. It will be the first ever meeting between the two programs in the NCAA Tournament.
The Ramblers earned their first NCAA Tournament berth in 10 years after they clinched their fourth overall Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Tournament Championship on Saturday, April 26 inside Gentile Arena. Loyola swept Ohio State to mark the program's first conference tournament title since 2015; the Ramblers did not drop a single set throughout the tournament.
