The 2024 Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Tournament bracket is set.
The opening round will take place on Saturday (April 13) at the top-four seeds.
No. 1 Ball State (13-3) will welcome No. 8 Queens (2-14) to Worthen Arena. The Cardinals claimed sole possession of the MIVA Regular Season title, claiming at least a share in each of the last three seasons. Queens qualified for the tournament in its first season as a member of the MIVA.
No. 2 Loyola Chicago (12-4) welcomes No. 7 McKendree (8-8) in Chicago. The Ramblers are on a three-match winning streak, all 3-0 victories. McKendree tied for fifth in the regular season standings, but dropped to No. 7 due to tiebreakers.
No. 3 Ohio State (11-5) will play host to No. 6 Lewis (8-8) in Columbus. Ohio State had a stretch of six victories in a row earlier this MIVA season. Lewis won 4-of-6 in a late stretch of the season.
No. 4 Lindenwood (9-7) will get a visit from No. 5 Purdue Fort Wayne (8-8) in St. Charles. Lindenwood's fourth-place finish is the best since the Lions joined the MIVA in 2013. Purdue Fort Wayne clinched the No. 5 seed by winning its last three matches.
The semifinal (April 18) and final (April 20) will be hosted by the highest remaining seed. The bracket will re-seed prior to the semifinal.
