LEXINGTON, Ky. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced its All-America Teams for the 2021 season on Monday, May 3, and the Lewis University men's volleyball team had three honorees on the two All-America Teams.
Ryan Coenen was named an All-American for the fifth time in his career, becoming the first player ever to earn five honors. Tyler Mitchem (three times) and Kevin Kauling (one time) also picked up All-America honors. Coenen and Mitchem were First Team selections while Kauling was a Second Team pick.
There were four teams with representatives in the All-America selections, including Honorable Mentions: Lewis (5), McKendree (2), Loyola Chicago (2), Ohio State (1).
