The Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association has selected Purdue Fort Wayne's Pelegrin Vargas as the Offensive Player of the Week and Lindenwood's Nick Stevenson as the Defensive Player of the Week.

Vargas averaged 4.73 kills per set in three matches while hitting .320 on the week. He led the Mastodons in kills in each match as the 'Dons earned wins over Ball State, Quincy and Lindenwood. He had 19 kills against the Cardinals, 12 versus the Hawks and added 21 in the five-set win over Lindenwood. He also finished with five aces on the week including four at Lindenwood.

Stevenson was a stalwart on the back row for Lindenwood in a pair of five-set matches last weekend. Against No. 13 Ball State, he recorded a match-high 19 digs in a victory for the Lions. He followed that performance with 10 digs against No. 15 Fort Wayne, again a match-high. For the week, he averaged 2.90 digs per set while adding a pair of blocks.
