    Lewis University freshman outside hitter Greg Petty (Downers Grove, Ill./Dowers Grove North) has been named the Sports Imports/American Volleyball Coaches Association Men’s Division I-II National Player of the Week. Petty helped No. 7 Lewis men’s volleyball to a 3-1 victory over then No. 6 Penn State on Saturday.

    The Quincy University men's volleyball team kept their impressive start to the 2012 season going with a 3-0 win at home over Hannibal-LaGrange University on Tuesday night. The Hawks swept the match 25-14, 25-23 and 25-22 and have now won seven straight sets.
  • Ohio State's Shawn Sangrey Named MIVA Offensive Player of the Week

    Senior co-captain Shawn Sangrey , a member of the No. 10 Ohio State men’s volleyball team, was named Offensive Player of Week by the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association, the league announced Monday. The honor is the first of the season for Sangrey and the ninth of his career.
