Ohio State Picked as the 2011 MIVA Preseason Favorite
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State has been selected as the preseason favorite to win the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association by a vote of the league coaches. The Buckeyes collected six first place votes and 47 points to second place Lewis with 39 points and one first place vote. Loyola-Chicago was third one vote behind Lewis with 38. Ball State was ranked fourth (29 votes) and IPFW fifth (21) while Grand Canyon and Quincy tied for sixth (11).
