(Quincy, Ill.) The 2010 season for the Quincy University men's volleyball team came to an end on Saturday night with a 3-0 loss to Lewis University in the first round of the MIVA Tournament.
Quincy fell 30-16, 30-23 and 30-24 as they were never able to get their offensive attack going hitting just .103 as a team in the match. Quincy hit -.030 in the first set with 10 kills and 11 errors and slowly improved as the match went on hitting .281 in the third set but it was not enough.
Lewis meanwhile hit .384 as a team, including a match high .455 in the first game with 12 kills and just two errors. Quincy was led by Joseph Ascher's 10 kills while Tanner Wright added eight kills and seven digs. Dan Dresen finished with 31 assists and eight digs.
Quincy closes their season with a 15-18 overall record
