COLUMBUS, Ohio - Eight Purdue Fort Wayne men's volleyball alumni won gold medals at the 2019 USA Volleyball Open National Championships, as Beam Pineapple defeated Hustle N Flow 2-0 in the championship match of the 40-and-Over class. Mastodon alumni Lloy Ball, Loren Gebert, Chris Gisslen, Jeff Ptak, Chris Farmer, Jorge Ralat, Will Robbins, and current Mastodon head coach Ryan "Rock" Perrotte were all on the team that went undefeated over the weekend.
FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) announced on Wednesday (May 15) that 13 of the 17 Purdue Fort Wayne men's volleyball student-athletes were selected to the 2019 Academic All-MIVA Team. FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Thanks to lockdown defense, third-seeded Purdue Fort Wayne took down sixth-seeded Lindenwood 25-12, 25-21, 25-19 on Arnie Ball Court on Saturday (April 13).
